socio ecological orders & disorders

As a Landscape Architect I believe in ecological accountability but my work advances with a dual interest in creative practice.  It is through the attentive reading of sites that I believe we can find harmony, working hard to reveal the deep structure of place through both lenses, thinking, questioning, measuring how we impact ecosystems but also how we work to understand human values in any landscape.   The voices of allied professionals from both scientific and social disciplines are critical to the development of my own knowledge and to the knowledge of my students and I actively seek strategies to deploy their skills.
